Feedback and Leadership: Creating Constructive Learning Cultures for Today’s Organizations

Her concern for people and an enthusiasm for English engendered by a year’s study at a school in Cornwall led Betty Boden to study Educational Science and English in Hamburg. Several years in international companies such as Japanese manufacturer Juki followed and she gained experience as a team leader in Sales and Exports and as deputy of a language school. This operational knowledge informed her bi-lingual career from the mid-1990s as facilitator and coach, and postgraduate study (“Weiterbildungsmanagement” at the TU Berlin) from 2001–2003 and a certified three-year course on process-oriented coaching 2011–2014. These experiences alongside a variety of further qualifications equipped her to support clients in various contexts e.g. universities (FU, TU, RUB, HWR, Halle), and companies (Siemens, Danfoss, SCJohnson).

She wholeheartedly accentuates clients’ introspection skills so as to foster personal growth. Clients describe her sessions as effective, inspiring and rewarding, and often report enthusiasm at the high level of practical orientation. She is also well-versed in conducting seminars, coaching sessions and workshops online.
